LaPorte, Tx. married 9-1-1904 to John Wesley Rankin born 9-24-1881 DeWitt Co., Tx. died 7-20-1947 LaPorte Co., Tx.
They were the parents of six (6) children: Addie Mae, Earl Wesley, James Alexander "Duke",
Willie, Earnest, and Elmer Rankin.

Beatrice "Bea" Nelson born 4-17-1888 died 9-20-1917 married Jesse
Long.
They were the parents of four (4) children: Edgar "Pat" Long, Luther, Leonard, and
Leon Long
John Arthur Nelson born 10-12-1896 Nacogdoches Co., Tx. died 2-5-1950 Polk Co., Tx.
He married Mertie Channel born 12-1-1899 and died 4-4-1957, Mertie Channel is the daughter of Stonewall and Lula Barnhart
Channel and grandaughter of Didie Ann (LNU) Channel. Both are buried in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Tx.
There children are: Clarence, Gaston "Monk", Verna, Esther, Lester (twins), Ben, Lucille, Irene, Otha Lee,
Edgar and Lillie Nelson
William Robert "Will" Nelson born November, 1887 died 1957. He married
Maggie Wilkinson born 1888 and died 1953.
They had 7 known children: Jewell, Lois Pauline, Ruby, Aerial Guy "Jack", Lorene, Curtis,
and Emmett Nelson
Leola Nelson born 7-6-1899 Winneywood, Ok. died 3-15-1942. She married Mayfield Barnhart
born 10-3-1893 and died 12-7-1964. They are both buried in the Fenton Cemetery in Cushing, Texas.
Their children are: Leela Barnhart and J.B. Barnhart
